EP Review: Pothole Paradise “PP EP”

Via their Spotify

The four piece indie rock band, Pothole Paradise, from Jackson Mississippi has dropped an incredible EP that the world needs to hear.

July 14th Pothole Paradise dropped their first EP, showcasing 5 songs. All with incredible vocals, captivating lyrics, melodic riffs, strong drum breaks, harmonica and backup vocals.

My personal favorite song on the EP has to be the final track, “Bossadellic,” the vibes are incredible. Opening with soft vocals which turn into light guitar picking and what I would describe as “vibey” strumming. It made me want to get up and dance. The build up being more folk and psychedelic left me feeling airy and with the feeling of nostalgia.

This is an EP that feels like when you go on a night drive with your windows down, soaking in the stars and breathing the fresh air. It feels like the last summer you have before you graduate so you make as many memories as possible. It feels like dancing without a care in the world. It feels like youth.
